New Yogyakarta International Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta Baru) or NYIA or Kulon Progo Airport is an airport currently under construction at Teman district of Kulon Progo Regency, which will serve Yogyakarta Special Region, in Java, Indonesia. The airport will be operated by Angkasa Pura I.[1] The airport is set to replace Adisutjipto International Airport of Yogyakarta, which is currently over capacity. The airport is expected to begin operations in 2020.
